About the Author

Vida León grew up in Minneapolis, MN and moved to Los Angeles, CA in 2004. She holds a great love for the arts, especially dance. Her proudest moment was dancing on stage, en pointe, alongside her two daughters.

 

Merging her interest in writing and her love for children, Vida has authored her debut children’s book—Nico’s Special Name. Being named after her aunt, Vida experienced the same joy as Nico in finding out where her name came from. This story was inspired by her nephew and father, and Vida hopes to encourage children to become curious about their names as well.

 

Vida finds inspiration for all her stories from her children and family, pets, nature, and the years she taught dance to kids. She holds a BS in Real Estate and has enjoyed writing unique listing descriptions that spark imagination in home buyers.
